Daniel Craig Visits the Olympic Games - With OMEGA in Paris

OMEGA’s global brand ambassador, Daniel Craig, has made a special visit to the Olympic Games to experience the magic of Paris 2024. During his time in the host city, the actor was able to watch the Showjumping events at the Château de Versailles and the Skateboarding events at La Concorde, before dropping into OMEGA House, to see how the brand is celebrating its role as Official Timekeeper.
Daniel has been an OMEGA ambassador ever since he took the role of James Bond for Casino Royale in 2006. While in Paris, he witnessed the brand’s renowned timekeeping live at the venues during competition, while also exploring the technology up-close at OMEGA House, where it is on display within a dedicated Timekeeping room.
Watch fans might also have spotted a new OMEGA watch on Daniel’s wrist. The details of the timepiece will be revealed later this year, but for now, the first pictures give a sneak peek of what can be expected.
Alongside Daniel was OMEGA President and CEO, Raynald Aeschlimann, who said, “It’s so nice to share this side of OMEGA with Daniel. We’ve been so fully immersed in James Bond over the years, this is a great chance for us to celebrate something totally different together and watch the incredible Olympic Games sports that are taking place.”
Daniel said, “To see Paris in all its glory for the Olympic Games is quite spectacular. I have always appreciated OMEGA’s craftsmanship as well as their eye for design; but to see their precision technology in action here at the Olympics, whilst the world is watching, is remarkable.”
