February 6th - International stars joined OMEGA in St. Moritz for the 2023 edition of the brand’s famous Bob Run.
The Swiss brand’s special guests enjoyed a heart racing bob run at high speed, measured with split-second precision by OMEGA’s team of Official Timekeepers, already on site at St. Moritz to serve the athletes of the IBSF World Bobsleigh & Skeleton Championships.
As well as experiencing the ultimate adrenalin rush, OMEGA’s guests enjoyed sedate alpine pleasures including horse sleigh carriage rides, winter sports and fine cuisine in OMEGA’s purposely-built igloo.
Guests of OMEGA were actor and friend of the brand Chase Stokes; multi-talented performer Alexander Ludwig; “Harry Potter” star and New York Times best-selling author Tom Felton; star of the “After” franchise Hero Fiennes Tiffin; actress, singer and dancer Kat Graham; actress Debby Ryan; and “Ginny and Georgia” star Felix Mallard.
President and CEO of OMEGA, Mr. Raynald Aeschlimann, extended a warm welcome to the attending talents. “It makes me smile to see all these amazing actors, wrapped up in OMEGA gear and buzzing with excitement about an experience that is so close to our hearts. It’s hard to imagine a more OMEGA way of saying welcome to Switzerland.”
As Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games and the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation, OMEGA has recorded the speeds of top-level bob teams at multiple Winter Olympic Games and IBSF World Cup events. Though the pace was gentler for OMEGA's celebrity guests, the venue was world class. The prestigious Olympia Run was the Bob venue at the 1928 and 1948 Olympic Games. As well as being the oldest bob run in the world, Olympia St. Moritz is the only run that is naturally refrigerated.
