The OMEGA Masters 2023 has finished with Ludvig Aberg at the top of the leaderboard. After four days of exceptional precision and awe-inspiring performance, the talented player from Sweden took the win and claimed this year’s trophy and famous red jacket.
A full roster of talented players was in action this year in Crans-Montana – featuring many of OMEGA’s own golfing ambassadors including Justin Suh, Danny Willett, Matt Wallace, Erik Van Rooyen, Guido Migliozzi, Rasmus Hojgaard, Nicolai Hojgaard, and Jeremy Freiburghaus.
Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of OMEGA said, “We’ve loved watching all the players at this year’s OMEGA Masters and would like to congratulate Ludvig Aberg on his deserved win. I can’t think of a more spectacular location to lift a golf trophy. Our company has been sponsoring the OMEGA Masters for 22 years now, and it’s just as exciting as ever.”
Receiving his winner’s watch, Ludvig Aberg was presented with an OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra. The 41 mm timepiece is crafted in OMEGA’s exclusive 18K SednaTM Gold and features a sun-brushed blue dial with “teak” pattern stripes inspired by the decks of luxury sailboats. Worn on a blue rubber strap, it is driven by a superb Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement, with a standard of precision that any golfer would be proud of.
Originally called the Swiss Open when it was first played in 1923, the OMEGA Masters has remained at the same venue since 1939, making it the oldest golf tournament in Europe to be played on the same course every year. OMEGA claimed the naming rights in 2001 and now considers the event to be one of the most important on its sporting calendar.
