History

Our Coffee culture starts 70 years ago with our Grand Ma Elisabeth (Mamie Ma-tcha) and has continued with her daughter Emilie who is now passing the relay to the next generation with Yaya and Magni, both grandchildren of Elisabeth and children of Emilie Kontchou leading the new structure: KONTCH’s E & E GmbH . Elisabeth and Emilie (E & E) inspired us with their hard work, in the spirit of Excellence and Exclusivity (E & E) in all activities in this tough environment traditionally dominated by men and customers satisfaction focus. Magni, COO of the organization, with her background of lawyer and her personal human skills, ensures the well being of our workers within an enthusiastic, respectful and energizing environment. Yaya, CEO of the organization, Dr in Natural Sciences has brought the rigour gained over 25 years in Chemical & pharmaceutical industry, quality and traceability in whatever the organization do. Urbain, the CIO with his background as an IT systems engineer and many years’ working experience in various organizations, is responsible for the appropriate implementation of the IT tools utilised by KONTCH’s E & E GmbH.

Location

Head Quarter is located in Switzerland (Kanton Solothurn) in charge for the overall strategy, management and governance for KONTCH’s E & E GmbH.The HQ is fully responsible for the Export market business. Subsidiary is located in Cameroon (Mungo Division) in charge of the production and processing of agricultural products. The subsidiary is also responsible for the strategy implementation, the management of the local employees as well as part of the local market business. Our main field initiated by Elisabeth and manufacturing areas are located in Lelem from which part of our coffee and Cacao are grown. Lelem is a small village in the Mbos plain of Cameroon Our additional fields are in the highlands of western Cameroon; the Bamboutos and Menoua regions, supplying the main part of the Arabica coffee KONTCH’s E & E GmbH works with Elisabeth & Kontchou non-profit organization ensuring the implementation of social strategic development goals for the region and above, as well as managing the social aspects set for the KONTCH’s E & E GmbH employees and direct family.

Therefore, plant, grow, harvest, roast and supply delightful unique coffee to its customer. Nature: KONTCH’s Coffee is a pure naturally elaborated product, resulting from the know how developed by the local people for a sustainable natural agriculture; therefore, we are operating chemical free agriculture and applying polyculture which combines coffee trees with various vegetables fostering a good balance of the soils. Social: KONTCH’s E & E GmbH develop its activities using the available / developed skills of local people in order to stabilize population and develop their surroundings. Environment: KONTCH’s E & E GmbH grow coffee with love, respecting our people, the environment and meeting the principles of sustainability and traceability. Customer: Unique opportunity for customers to create their own coffee based on the various green beans from our farms, if wished extra flavoured with our organic fruits or spices extracts.

What are we offering

We are operating 4 fields in 4 different locations in Cameroon having 4 varieties of Robusta coffee and 4 varieties of Arabica coffee (all grown chemicals free) and operations for the finished roast products are done on site with available / developed local personals.
